Because the demand was so great for Charles Leverett s beginning wood carving class at the Gadsden Museum of Art, a second class has been added.

The second class will be taught from 9 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. with a short break for lunch. All tools will be furnished and there are some 20 ornaments or jewelry pieces to be selected from to carve. Blanks for carving the ornaments will be available for students to purchase for $3 each. The class is limited to eight students, so pre-registration is essential. To secure a place in the class, visit the GMA or call Elaine Campbell at Gadsden Museum of Art (256) 546-7365.
