Thank God for dirty dishes,
they have a tale to tell,
While other folks are hungry;
We are eating very well.
With home and health and happiness
We shouldn’t want to fuss
For by this stack of evidence,
God is very good to us.
Pick your friends, but not to pieces.
What does you anxiety do? It does not empty tomorrow of its sorrow, but it empties today of its strength. It does not make you escape the evil- it makes you unfit to cope with it if it comes.
He who ceases to be your friend never was a good one.
He knows little who will tell his wife all he knows

It’s a Hoot
The minister came along a wrote on the sign board: “I pray for all.”
The lawyer wrote underneath: “I plead for all.”
The doctor added: “I prescribe for all.”
The plain citizen wrote: “I pay for all.”
