What a Blessed Day

By Dot KelleyBy Dot Kelley

On Wednesday I met Annie Dixson at Hardee’s. I hadn’t seen her for quite a while, so I sat down and we talked for a while. She was going to the “Golden Ager’s Club” so I decided I’d go by and visit them. I was a member of the club when it was organized in 1989 but stopped going after my darling J.B. passed away. So I decided I’d join the club again. There are still several members that were there from the beginning. I’ll be glad to get to go on their upcoming trip. I can hardly wait!

I’ll be writing about our trips from time to time. So glad to be a member again.

Please put my nephew Clay Johnston on your prayer list. The doctor says he has terminal cancer –But –God is still in control.

Cancer is so Limited

It cannot cripple love
It cannot cripple faith
It cannot shatter hope
It cannot destroy peace
It cannot silence courage
It cannot suppress memories
It cannot invade the soul
It cannot steal eternal life
and
It cannot conquer the spirit.
