The Greater Gadsden Housing Authority requests proposals in order to secure 3 separate contracts for lawn and grounds maintenance in seven (7) GGHA communities. The contact is for (2) years / growing season. The 1st season will begin March 4, 2014 and end October 31, 2014, the 2nd season will begin March 3, 2015 and end Oct 31, 2015.

 

Proposals will be accepted in the office of the Executive Director located at 422 Chestnut Street, Gadsden, AL 35901 until 2:00 p.m. CST on Wednesday, December 11, 2013. Any proposals received after this time will not be considered. The RFP and specifications may be obtained at the office of the Purchasing Agent, located at 500 Tuscaloosa Avenue, Gadsden, Alabama 35901, or by calling (256) 547-2505. 

There will be a Pre Bid conference held on Wednesday November 27th, 2013 @ 10:00 a.m. at the Central Maintenance Office located at 500 Tuscaloosa Avenue Gadsden, AL  35901 to discuss the upcoming lawn contract and viewing of properties.

The Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and also reserves the right not to enter into any contract as a result of this request.
