Noccalula Falls Park and Campgrounds will host a Halloween Super Bash tomorrow, October 10 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.
The event is free for children age 3 and younger. Tickets are $5 for everyone age 4 and older. Pre-sale tickets begin at 10 a.m.
There will be a fortune teller with fortune cookies, a photo booth, candy corn bowling, a pumpkin toss, a cupcake walk, ghost golf, inflatables, a tractor race, skeet ball and, of course, bobbing for apples. Ronald McDonald will attend from 11 a.m until 12:30 p.m. Princess Noccalula will also attend. Children will also be able to take train rides around the park and visit the petting zoo. Trick or treating will be available at various places throughout the park.
A human hamster ball ride and pumpkin painting will be available, but cost an additional $3.
The first 200 kids to enter the park will receive free bags.
Food vendors will be offering festival favorites to the crowd, including slushes, funnel cakes, kettle corn and Frios pops.
Everyone is welcome to wear costumes and come join the fun.
“We love to have a community event that’s affordable and the kids can come out and enjoy it, have fun,” said Janet Tarrance, Administrative Supervisor for the City of Gadsden Parks and Recreation Department. “It’s fun for the whole family, no matter how old you are.”
Tarrance expects 500 kids or more to attend this year.
“We had a really good response this year,”said Tarrance.
