National group gives AAA scholarship plan failing grade

Gadsden City Cadets attend JCLC summer camp

Fourteen cadets from Gadsden City High School attended JROTC Cadet Leadership Challenge (JCLC) Summer Camp at Fort McClellan in early June. The cadets trained with 264 other JROTC Cadets from schools primarily in central and north Alabama. Serendipity Dance Club celebrates thirty-five years

The Serendipity Dance Club is celebrating its 35th Anniversary. Each year, Bachelors and Spinsters are recognized with a dance at the Gadsden Country Club. Funds are raised to benefit the fine arts in Gadsden.

In years past, the funds generated were used to support the Callan Concert Association and the Gadsden Symphony Orchestra with goods and services.
