Moore’s late free throws sends Hokes Bluff past Southside in county tournament championship

For the first 31 minutes and 58 seconds of the 2015 Etowah County basketball tournament boys championship game on Jan. 23, Hokes Bluff and Southside played dead even.
The contest was tied at 37-37 with two seconds remaining when the Eagles’ Kaden Moore took a foul shot in the paint.

Hannah Evans had no intention of going 3-for-4 for her high school career in Etowah County Basketball Tournament title games.
The Hokes Bluff senior guard took over the game down the stretch to propel the Lady Eagles to a 41-40 championship victory over Southside last Friday (Jan. 23) at Gadsden State.
With the Lady Eagles (16-8)
