New bargain store opens in Gadsden

Bargain Hunt opened yesterday on October 15. The store is the fifth one of its kind to be opened in Alabama. 

Bargain Hunt is located in the old Hobby Lobby location at 401 George Wallace Drive. The store has 21,700 square feet of sales space.

On Thursday, October 8, J.P. King Auction Company celebrated its 100th year in business at Events on Court in downtown Gadsden.

The celebration was a great success and many local influential people were in attendance including City of Gadsden Mayor Sherman Guyton, State Rep. Craig Ford, National Auctioneers Association CEO Hannes Combest, NAA Past President

The Factory hosts the Fear Factory

The Factory, located at 100 Thomas Drive in Gadsden, has become known as the go-to place for birthday parties. The facility hosts about 25 every weekend. Birthday parties cost anywhere from $100 to $300. The Factory is not just limited to birthday parties, though. The staff can handle any group, including sororities and church youth groups.
