Etowah County’s Humane Society Pet Rescue and Adoption Center will host its annual Paws for St. Patty fundraiser on March 17. The fundraiser will start at the Pitman Theatre at “half past five in the evening.”
A self-proclaimed “green tie affair” attendees are strongly encouraged to don themselves in green and Irish attire.
The evening will feature a live and silent auction with heavy hors d’oeuvres.
Tickets are $50. To purchase tickets, go to www.hsprac.com or call 256-442-1347, ext. 224.
Can’t attend Paws for St. Patty? You can still help the Humane Society! The Humane Society can always use volunteers and donations.
To volunteer or foster, visit www.hsprac and fill out the form provided. Cash donations can be given on the website, as well.
The Humane Society also takes supply donations. The wish list includes bleach and paper towels for cleaning, dog and cat toys for entertainment, fleece bedding for the animals’ comfort, Purina dog, cat, puppy and kitten food and cheese whiz to more easily medicate sick animals.
