What made you decide to work in your field?
“My entire career life has been in sales. I enjoy learning about and being around cars, so selling them just makes perfect sense.”
Tell us about your family and pets.
“I am married to Adam Blevins. We have two girls Madallyn, 6, and Bailey, 13. We also have one dog named Sampson.”
Describe an average day in your life.
“I taxi the girls to school, then begin my workday, hopefully to sell cars and/or help nice people out of bad situations with their old vehicles. Then I head home for baths and homework before bedtime stories.”
What school or schools have you attended?
“I attended the Fort Payne school system.”
What do you like to do in your free time?
“Boating, fishing, hunting and anything else my daughters enjoy.”
What would you say is your greatest accomplishment?
“Being a mother to two wonderful, sweet and brilliant girls and successfully building a business from the ground up.”
Name the one person that has been the most influential in your life. Why?
“My mother. She is the strongest person I’ve ever known. She is caring, loving and empathetic with everyone (even when they don’t deserve it).”
To what do you credit your success?
“The example set by my mother. She was incredible stubborn and hard-headed but also taught me to be open to others’ ideas and feelings.”
Are you involved in any service organizations?
“I spent a couple of years involved with Family Services of North Alabama helping victims of sexual assault and rape.”
What is your favorite thing about this community?
“The events downtown, like First Friday, the Chocolate Festival and concerts.”
What would you like to see change in the community?
“The crime rate decrease.”
What are three words that describe you?
“Outgoing, driven and spunky.”
What is something surprising that many do not know about you?
“I once made a living as a DJ/karaoke DJ.”
What is your favorite quote?
“Kindness is a language the deaf can hear and the blind can see.” – Mark Twain.
What is on your bucket list?
“Swimming off a waterfall in Hawaii.”
What is your hidden talent?
“Baking. It is my ‘go to’ when stressed, and everyone loves it when I bake.”
If a movie were made about your life, who would you want to play you?
What advice would you give yourself as a child?
“Hug your grandparents even more often because there will be a day not too far off that you can no longer hug them.”
