He is so good at his job that the children all believe him to be the real Santa Clause. Further, he helps spread a wave of love throughout New York City, fostering camaraderie between Macy’s and Gimbel’s Department Stores, giving happiness to a 6-year-old girl and bringing love to a divorced, cynical single mother.
