Makenna Beard and Alexis Beard each finished with two goals and one assist in Westbrook’s Christian’s 7-0 shutout over Fultondale in the first round of the Class 1A-3A girls state playoffs on Tuesday (May 3) in Rainbow City.
The Lady Warriors (22-0-0) host Altamont this Saturday (May 7) in a second round game.
Also for Westbrook, Avery Bane had a goal and an assist, while Kendall Sharp and A.K. Wright each had one goal.
Mattie Loyd secured the shutout in goal.
