Blue Devils, Eagles win; Warriors, Conquerors lose

Paul Ruiz scored four touchdowns as Etowah ended the regular season with a 40-14 victory over St. Clair County on Thursday (Oct. 30) in Odenville. 

The Blue Devils (6-4) travel to Mortimer Jordan on Friday in the first round of the Class 5A state playoffs.

Hokes Bluff ended its season and a six-game losing streak on Thursday (Oct. 30) with a 31-29 victory over host Locust Fork.

For the Eagles (3-7), Fisher Simmons was 10 of 15 in passing for 159 yards and two touchdowns. Phillip Ward had seven receptions for 101 yards a two scores.

Chase Beggs rushed for 79 yards and a touchdown on 19 attempts. 

Noah Click led defensively with 17 tackles. 

Westbrook ended its season with a 49-24 loss to Ranburne on Friday (Oct. 31). 

For the Warriors (3-6), Wil Appleton threw two touchdown passes, one to Gilbert Rosas and another to Chris Underwood. Davin Lewis also rushed for a touchdown. 

Coosa Christian (1-9) ended its season with a 62-0 loss to Donoho on Thursday (Oct. 30) in Gadsden.
