Downtown Gadsden hosting Shamrockin’ with my Gnomies

Raise an Irish toast for St Patrick’s Day Weekend in downtown Gadsden.

On Friday, March 14 downtown Gadsden will have the fun shopping event Shamrockin’ with my Gnomies. Participants are asked to wear green, shop and dine in participating stores for a chance to win a gift basket.

Then, on Saturday March 15, it’s the annual downtown Gadsden Pub Crawl.

People 21 and over can enjoy drinks at all these participating locations from 3 -9 p.m.

Back Forty Beer Company, Big D’s Game Changer, Blackstone Pub & Eatery, CJ’s Crab Shack, Chestnut Station, Clover on Court, Downtown Chief, Elk’s Lodge #1314, Jake’s Music Room, Jefferson’s, Las Brisas Mexican Restaurant, Mater’s Pizza & Pasta, Old Havana Cigar Bar and Tut Hookah Lounge.

The Coffee Bar will be open and serving up drinks for designated drivers.

“We want everyone to have a fun time, but a safe time,” said Kay Moore, Downtown Gadsden, Inc. (DGI) director.

“Remember to drink in moderation and bring a designated driver to ensure a happy evening.”

T-shirts will be available to purchase at Back Forty with proceeds benefiting DGI.
