Eagles rush past White Plains

Blane Barron and Bryce Whitaker both rushed for over 100 yards in Hokes Bluff’s 42-14 victory over White Plains on Sept. 29 in Anniston.
Barron gained 127 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries, while Whitaker ran nine times for 109 yards and two TDs.
Whitaker (pictured above) was 5 for 6 in passing for 78 yards and a touchdown. Anderson Morgan had four receptions for 53 yards.
Drew McCarver finished with seven tackles, followed by Coleman McGinnis with six and Blake Green with five.
The Eagles (3-2, 2-1) resume Class 3A Region 6 action on October 6 at Plainview.
