The Etowah County Sports Hall of Fame recently announced its Class of 2026 to be inducted on Saturday, June 13 at The Venue at Coosa Landing in Gadsden.
This year’s class includes Rodney Long, Brian Mintz and Randy Ross from Southside High School; Barbara Downey and James Wesley Graves, Jr., from Etowah High School; Garry Edward Elkins from Emma Sansom High School; and Aaron Pearson and Wes Vance from Gadsden High School. The 2026 class increases the ECSHOF membership to 148 inductees since 1990.
Tickets are $30 for individuals and $240 for a table of eight. Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze sponsorship levels are available. Tickets can be purchased at Cobbs Allen Insurance located at 400 Broad Street in Gadsden, Emblem Credit Union at 702 Walnut Street in Gadsden and PostNet at 3331 Rainbow Drive, Suite E, in Rainbow City.
