Gadsden City girls, Southside boys earn points at state track meet

The Gadsden City girls and the Southside boys earned points at the AHSAA state track and field meet last weekend in Gulf Shores.
In Class 7A, the GCHS girls’ 4×400-meter relay team of Emani Morgan, Kyla Price, Trinity Price and Jadien Price finished fifth at 4:09.47. The Lady Titans’ girls 4×100-meter relay team of Trinity Price, Jadien Price, Kayla Price and Emani Morgan placed seventh at 49.89 seconds.
In Class 6A, the Panthers’ 4×800-meter relay team of Ryan Maudsley, Jackson Griggs (pictured above), Luke Holcombe and Will Anglea placed eighth at 8:29.59.
