Those who missed the spring commencement ceremony for Gadsden State Community College on May 7 now have the opportunity to watch it on TV24. The event was held at Gadsden State Cherokee in Centre.
For the first time ever, commencement was filmed and will broadcast eight times on TV24 beginning at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, May 21.
Carl Brady, who is the executive producer of the commencement production, said putting Gadsden State’s first system-wide combined graduation on TV was a perfect fit for TV24.
“TV24 has an unmatched commitment to supporting the local communities that we serve, and we already enjoy a great relationship with Gadsden State,” he said. “Putting their graduation ceremony on TV is an important part of honoring that relationship and the local students who have worked so hard to accomplish that special milestone.”
