Lady Cardinals at 3-2 on the year

Gadsden State improved to 3-2 on the season with a 70-56 victory over Wallace State-Selma on Wednesday, Nov. 13 Beck Gymnasium.
For the Lady Cardinals, Kamoriah Gaines had 15 points, seven rebounds and three steals; Jaedyn Speights (pictured above) had 10 points, five rebounds and three steals; C’niya Mullens scored 10 points; Tyla Tatum had nine points, four rebounds and three steals; and Jaxon Sizemore had six points and eight rebounds.
Gadsden State evened its record at 2-2 with wins over Motlow State on Nov. 5 and the Faulkner University junior varsity on Nov. 8.
Against Motlow for the Lady Cardinals, Tatum and Omaya Nelson each scored 12 points. Alicia Reyes added five points, eight rebounds and three assists, while Gaines chipped in five points, seven rebounds and four steals.
Against Faulkner, Nelson had 13 points, four rebounds, four assists and two steals; Speights contributed 12 points and five rebounds; Tatum and Mullens each scored 11 points; Kyla Torok had nine points, six rebounds, four assists and three steals; Sizemore had six points and 10 rebounds; Reyes had six points and nine rebounds; Gaines had six points and six rebounds; and Zoey Hardy had six points.
