WHEREAS, the City of Gadsden accepted $17,800.00 in grant funds from the Alabama Tourism Department to be used for expenses involved with Summer Concert Series – July 1, 2022, Independence Day Fireworks – July 4, 2022, Mistletoe Market – December 3, 2022 and to assist with marketing and promotion of city-wide tourism events;

Therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GADSDEN, ALABAMA, that the General Fund Budget adopted by Ordinance No. O-12-21 (Fiscal Year 2022 Budget), is amended by increasing the following accounts:
