Four area players were recognized in the Alabama High School Athletic Association’s Prep Spotlight for Week 7 of the 2015 football season.

Gaston senior quarterback Jordan Douglas completed 11-of-14 passes for 212 yards and three touchdowns and rushed for 119 yards on 19 carries in the Bulldogs’ 44-36 win over West End.

Glencoe senior running back Austin Bush rushed 16 times for 155 yards and two touchdowns in the Ye-llow Jackets’ 21-7 victory over Ohatchee.

West End senior quarterback Hunter Grant completed 24-of-44 passes for 393 yards and three touchdowns in the Patriots’ 44-36 loss to Gaston.

West End junior receiver Andre Little caught nine passes for 140 yards and one touchdown in the Patriots’ 44-36 loss to Gaston.
