Panthers break school record in the 4×800

The Southside High boys 4×800-meter relay team broke the school record for the event at the Hewitt-Trussville Invitational on April 16. Ryan Maudsley, Luke Holcombe, Jackson Griggs and Will Anglea (pictured above) posted a time of 8:26.45, seven seconds faster than the group’s previous PR this season. In addition, Anglea finished third out of 17 competitors in the boys 3200-meter run with a time of 10:14.01. Southside will compete in the Class 6A, Section 4 Meet this weekend at Fort Payne.
