Sardis recevies votes in latest ASWA football poll

Sardis is inching closer to the top 10 in the Alabama Sports Writers Association’s weekly high school football poll.

The Lions, who won their fifth straight game after posting a 42-20 overtime win over Guntersville last Friday (Oct. 5), are the 12th in Class 4A with 11 points. 

Gadsden City dropped out of the Class 6A top 10 after falling to Pell City, 21-19, last week. The Titans (4-2) received one vote this week.
