Westbrook Christian fell to Piedmont, 38-10, in a Class 3A Region 6 game on Friday, Sept. 20 in Rainbow City. Piedmont out-gained Westbrook in total yards, 425 to 249.
For the Warriors (2-2, 2-2), Brody Blevins rushed 19 times for 103 yards and was 3 for 13 in passing for 37 yards. Sam Sollie completed 6 of 9 passes for 68 yards and a touchdown.
Brodie Johnson had four receptions for 56 yards, while Bo Kilgo caught four passes for 35 yards and a touchdown.
Westbrook takes a break from region play with a visit to Munford on Friday, Sept. 27.
West End lost to Cleveland, 28-8, in Class 2A Region 6 action on Friday, Sept. 20.
The Patriots’ lone score came on Jaxon Hamby’s 68-yard touchdown pass to Jackson Mayo at 6:20 of the fourth quarter. Hamby ran in the 2-point conversion run.
For West End (0-5, 0-3), Hamby was 5 for 10 in passing for 129 yards. Jackson Mayo had three receptions for 114. Dalton Fulmer rushed 12 times for 46 yards. Braison Howard had an interception and recovered a fumble.
The Patriots go on the road on Friday, Sept. 27 against Vinemont in non-region action.

For the Bulldogs (1-2, 0-2), Chapman Clay was 5 for 14 in passing for 85 yards. Devon Green and Keller Skaggs each had two receptions.
Noah Cohen rushed for 84 yards on four carries, Conner Humphrey ran 10 times for 65 yards and Skaggs gained 61 yards on eight attempts.
Gaston travels to Whitesburg Christian of Huntsville on Friday, Sept. 27 in non-region action.
