Brady Kitchens passed for over 200 yards, Aaron Mann rushed for over 150 yards and Conner Montgomery had 100 receiving yards in Glencoe’s 49-18 victory over Holly Pond on Sept. 29.
The Yellow Jackets (2-3, 0-3) led 13-7 after one quarter thanks to a pair of touchdown passes from Kitchens (pictured above) to Conner Montgomery, the first from 46 yards out and the second from 42 away.
Mann’s 4-yard touchdown run in the second period provided Glencoe with a 20-6 advantage at halftime.
Wade Segrest and Kitchens both scored during the third quarter, the former on a 9-yard run and the latter on an 11-yard scamper that made it 34-12.
Mann’s second TD run of the night soon gave the Jackets a 29-point lead. Seth Jenne later scored a 7-yard touchdown for added insurance.
Kitchens was 10 for 14 in passing for 215 yards, while Mann rushed for 152 yards on 16 carries.
Montgomery had four receptions for 100 yards.
Glencoe resumes its Class 2A Region 6 schedule on Oct. 6 at home against Sylvania.
