Glencoe players recognized

A pair of Glencoe High football players were nominated for both the Alabama Sports Writers Association and Alabama High School Athletic Association Prep Spotlight Offensive/Defensive Player of the Week awards following the Yellow Jackets’ 31-28 Class 3A state semifinal loss to Madison Academy on Nov. 28.

Senior quarterback Dylan rushed 16 times for 101 yards and two and completed 7 of 11 passes for 64 yards and another score, while junior safety Pace Ozmint had 11 tackles, including one for a loss.
