‘Rachel’s Challenge’ shares anti-bullying message

Fear of bullying causes 160,000 students to skip school every day. This sobering fact is shared on the web site for Rachel’s Challenge – a national anti-bullying crusade that seeks to inform communities of what kids face in today’s society and to encourage kids to be kinder and more supportive of one another.

‘Walk Through Time’ at Forrest Cemetery

Many cities have “cemetery strolls,” said Pudden McArthur of the Forrest Cemetery “A Walk Through Time” board, but the annual Forrest Cemetery stroll is the only one that uses descendants of historical figures to share stories from the past whenever possible.
