John Huffman, who has worked at Gadsden Regional for four decades, has been named the hospital’s Employee of the Year.
Huffman, who began his tenure with the hospital in 1973, is employed as a dispatcher/patient transporter with Imaging Services. He coordinates workflow for the transport service, as well as work schedules and daily assignments for the department.

Seven students from Gadsden State Community College have returned after testing their NASA research mentored experiments aboard NASA’s reduced gravity aircraft. The students are busy evaluating their data after experiencing weightlessness at NASA Johnson Space Center’s Ellington Field in Houston.
