Inside Toys exhibit ending soon, coming up Tutu2K fundraiser

Mary G. Hardin Center for Cultural Art’s exhibit Toys: The Inside Story ends after Labor Day. 

The exhibit featured 12 stations showing the mechanisms that run classic childhood toys, like a jack-in-the-box. The exhibit demonstrates how gears, pulleys and circuits work in other popular toys as well.

Etowah County Commissioner Carolyn Parker has been elected to serve as a member of the Association of County Commissions of Alabama’s Legislative Committee.
