Spring Garden fell just four points short of setting a new school record for most points scored in a football game on Friday (Oct. 24) with a 72-42 victory over Class 1A, Region 7 rival Coosa Christian.
Spring Garden (6-3, 5-1) jumped out to a 33-0 lead at the end of the first quarter.
Eagles lose to Cleburne County
Hokes Bluff fell to Cleburne County, 35-14, in a Class 4A, Region 6 game on Friday (Oct. 24) at HBHS.
Noah Click and Fisher Simmons scored touchdowns for the Eagles (2-7, 2-5).
Hokes Bluff closes out its season on Friday with a trip to Locust Fork.

He began his tenure at Gadsden State in 1986 and worked as a full-time band director and music instructor from 1986 until his retirement in 1996. Reagan remained part-time band director at Gadsden State until February 2014.
