Titans fall to Buckhorn

Class 7A, No. 3 Gadsden City stood between Buckhorn and a playoff berth on Friday (Oct. 24) in Region 4. The visiting Titans had already clinched the region championship.

The Bucks accomplished their goal by beating Gadsden City, 37-20, in Huntsville. Mackenzie Graham scored four touchdowns to lead playoff-bound Buckhorn (6-3, 4-3). The Bucks led 20-7 at halftime and played tough defense throughout the game against Gadsden City (8-2, 6-1). Buckhorn held Gadsden City to 214 total yards.

The Titans have next week off and will host a first round playoff game on Nov. 7.
