Gadsden City High honors AP Scholars

Gadsden City High School honored 35 students on Tuesday, October 6 for being designated AP Scholars by the College Board.
The students were recognized for the scores they received on the AP exams they had taken. The AP exam score is a weighted combination of scores on both the multiple-choice section and on the free-response section
Noccalula to host Halloween Super Bash

Noccalula Falls Park and Campgrounds will host a Halloween Super Bash tomorrow, October 10 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.
The event is free for children age 3 and younger. Tickets are $5 for everyone age 4 and older. Pre-sale tickets begin at 10 a.m.

Modern Woodmen to assist library

On October 24, Modern Woodmen will team up with the Children’s Department of the Gadsden Public Library to collect supplies for the library’s new STEM cart in honor of Make a Difference Day, which was started in 1992 by USA Today.
The new STEM cart is designed to hold tools and crafting supplies.
