Kileigh Blackwell held Hokes Bluff to two hits in Hokes Bluff’s 10-0 win over Glencoe on Tuesday, March 22. In five innings, Blackwell struck out three and did not walk a batter. At the plate for the Lady Eagles, Hayden Wolfe went 2-for-3 with a home run, three RBI and two runs scored; Halle Davenport went 2-for-3 with a double, two RBI and a run scored; Bailee Latronico went 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored; and Abigail Payne had a home run, two RBI and a run scored. Abi Bunt and Aubrey Maxwell each had a hit for Glencoe.

An eight-run fourth innings helped push Southside past Etowah, 10-6, on Tuesday, March 22. For the Lady Panthers, Jasie Brooks went 4-for-4 with a home run, a double, two RBI and a run scored; Macey Herren (pictured above) went 2-for-3 with a home run, a double, three RBI and two runs scored; Peyton Burrell went 3-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored; and Kinsey Marble went 2-for-4 with two runs scored. For the Lady Blue Devils, Jaleigh Devine went 3-for-4 with a double, an RBI and a run scored; Maggie Bennett went 2-for-4 with a double and four RBI; Abbi Martin went 2-for-4 with two runs scored; and Anna Jones went 2-for-4 with a run scored. Winning pitcher Lexi Darnell struck out four and walked one in seven innings.

A four-run sixth inning paved the way for Sardis’ 9-8 win over Arab on Tuesday, March 22. For the Lady Lions, Jayda Lacks went 3-for-4 with a home run, a double, three RBI and three runs scored; Kayden Tarvin went 2-for-4 with two doubles, five RBI and two runs scored; and Anna Kate Waldrop went 3-for-4 with two runs scored.

Glencoe lost to Geraldine, 8-3, on Monday, March 21. For the Lady Yellow Jackets, Hailey Hanners went 2-for-4 with a double, an RBI and a run scored, while Abi Bunt and Summer Crump each had a hit and a run scored.

Ashville posted a 19-3 victory in three innings over Victory Christian on Monday, March 21 in Pell City. For the Lady Bulldogs, Juli Mostillo had a hit, two RBI and three runs scored; Ashlynn Layfield had three RBI and a run scored; Rachel St. John had two RBI and three runs scored; and Rayne Ford had two RBI and two runs scored. Winning pitcher Lexi St. John allowed three hits, three runs and three walks while fanning seven.

Sardis edged Southside, 10-9, on March 17 in Sardis City. Val Owens and Vada Willmore each went 2-for-3 for the Lady Lions, while Hannah Hill went 2-for-4. Maddie Harris hit a three-run home run. Anna Kate Waldrop, Kayden Tarvin, Jaylyn Hannah, and Jade Knight each had a hit for Sardis.

Kiana Green went finished with a double, five RBI and two runs scored in Gaston’s 18-2 victory over Anniston on March 17. Also for the Lady Bulldogs, Makenzie McCarver had a double, two RBI and three runs scored, while Maleah Crane and Sidney Fitts each had a hit, two RBI and two runs scored. Fitts earned the win in five innings, scattering five hits, one earned run and one walk with four strikeouts.
