Southside rallied from a 4-0 deficit at halftime to defeated Class 5A Area 6 rival Springville, 5-4, on Thursday, March 14 at Springville.
“I’ve coached boys soccer for 37 years, and this is the first 4-0 comeback I have ever seen,” said Southside head coach Randy Vice.
Ouzeiph Toumiba (pictured above) scored two goals for the Class 5A No. 2 Panthers (13-0-1), while Pranjal Sharma, Cooper Yancey and Camren Thompson all scored one. Trek Gardner, Will Argo and Joel Herrera each had an assist.
