Donna Jo Roberts

Donna Jo Roberts, lovingly known as “Donna Jo” and “Gigi,” passed away peacefully Jan. 15, with her family by her side. She was born on Jan. 17, 1964, in Fresno, California, and most recently resided in Rainbow City, Alabama.

Donna Jo, a proud “Gigi,” found her greatest joy in her children and grandchildren, pouring her love into every moment she shared with them. She was a dedicated soccer and football mom, and happiest when outdoors— camping, fishing, and enjoying the simple beauty of the Coosa River.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Roberts Sr.; her brother, Keith Roberts; and her beloved granddaughter, Darya Chamanzad.

She is survived by her mother, Carol Roberts; her children,Tiffany Reddy and her husband, Aaron Reddy; and her son, Alireza Chamanzad, and his wife, Atefeh Chamanzad; and her son Omeed Chamanzad. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren,Reese, Brinley and Lyla, along with many family members, including her siblings Jack Roberts and his wife LeeAnn, and Cheryl Nethery, and many friends and family who will miss her deeply.

Donna Jo will be remembered for the way she welcomed others, her fierce love for her family, and the warmth she brought into the world.
