Simply put, for Glencoe to have a chance to make the playoffs, this win is all but necessary.

Crazier things have happened, but a loss puts the Yellow Jackets at a severe disadvantage in Region 5 of Class 3A at 1-3. Glencoe is tied for fifth place with White Plains and Ashville, although the Jackets hold the tiebreaker over White Plains and play Ashville next week. However, a victory keeps Glencoe right in the midst of the race.

Last week against Saks, Thomas Ozmint finished with 212 rushing yards on 26 attempts, while Dylan Stone rushed 11 times for 41 yards.

Stone completed 8-of-18 passes for 140 yards and two touchdowns. Andrew Land had four receptions for 61 yards.

Mason Brown had 17 tackles, followed by Pace Ozmint with nine and Taylor Daugherty with eight. Three of Daugherty’s tackles were for a loss.
