Gadsden State student-athletes recognized

A number of Gadsden State student-athletes made the Alabama Community College Conference’s Fall 2021 Commissioner’s Honor Roll by achieving a 3.00 grade point average or higher.
From the mens tennis was Tanner Arnold, Riddic Dugger, Noah Hefner, Jonah Hudson, Elijah Jones and Taylor Walls.
From volleyball were Jade Bell, Bliss Brown, Alex Ellis, Savannah Free, Tamara Garner, Savannah Manley, Maegan Milligan, Morgan Moseley, Madalynn Owen and Sidney Peterson.
From womens basketball were Chloe Davidson (pictured above), Peyton Blevins, Halle Brown, Hannah Cohn, Brittany Freeman, Dee Guinn, Emma Martin, Montana Moats, Zoee Sitz, Audrey Grace Walters, Maggie Woodall and Marie Woodall.
From mens basketball were Azaad Ben, Parker Godwin and Sloan Phillips.
“This has been another year of challenges and adjustments for all of our student-athletes, and they have met each obstacle with a level of excellence that makes us proud,” said Gadsden State athletic director Mike Cancilla. “We are very proud of all of our athletes and their coaches who play an important part in the success of the student and the athlete.”
