West End finished second out of 13 teams in the Class 1A-4A girls division at the Tennessee River Classic 5K last Saturday (Aug. 26) in Florence. For the Lady Patriots, Paten Battles paced fifth out of 137 runners with a time of 21:26.57, while Karlee Tarpley came in 11th at 23:03.52.
