The head baseball coaches from the Etowah County Schools System recently released the 2024 All-County team.
From Sardis were senior outfielder Landon Carroll, senior pitcher/infielder Blaze Gerhart, senior infielder/pitcher Carson Gillilan and junior infielder Trey Thornton.
Named from Southside were senior infielder Kutter Johnson, senior outfielder Cayden McMichael, sophomore infielder Angelo Alberghina and freshman pitcher Shelby Houston.
Selected from Glencoe were senior pitcher Brady Kitchens, senior infielder Trent Rowell, junior catcher Jayden Patton and senior infielder Jordan Haynie.
Representing Hokes Bluff were junior pitcher Glavine Lamberth, senior infielder Brayson Hayes, sophomore infielder Bryce Whitaker and junior outfielder Logan Wiemann.
Picked from West End were junior pitcher/infielder Jackson Mayo, senior designated hitter Jace Golden, senior pitcher/infielder Rock Sainsbury and senior outfielder Triston Chaney.
From Gaston were senior pitcher Easton Albert, senior catcher Luke Hollingsworth, junior outfielder Zeke Voytek and junior infielder Conner Humphrey.
Sardis’ Kevin Vinson (pictured above) was selected Coach of the Year after guiding the Lions to a 22-13 record, county and area championships and a berth in the Class 5A state quarterfinals.
