Westbrook Christian swept West End, 25-11, 25-20, 25-12 in the Class 2A, Area 11 Tournament championship match on Monday (Oct. 17) in Rainbow City. Both teams advanced to the North Super Regional Tournament in Huntsville beginning on Friday (Oct. 21). The Lady Warriors will face Mars Hill Bible, while the Lady Patriots play Hatton.
Glencoe fell to Pleasant Valley, 25-7, 25-14, 25-3, in the Class 3A, Area 10 Tournament championship match on Monday (Oct. 17) at PVHS. The Lady Yellow Jackets (16-17) advanced to the North Super Regional Tournament in Huntsville beginning on Friday (Oct. 21). Glencoe opens the tournament against Plainview.
Sardis lost to DAR, 25-16, 25-21, 25-17, in the championship match of the Class 4A, Area 13 Tournament on Tuesday (Oct. 18) in Grant. The Lady Lions (18-18) advanced to the North Super Regional Tournament in Huntsville beginning on Friday (Oct. 21), where they will play Leeds.
