Ashville fell to Hayden, 28-6, in high school football on September 23.
The Bulldogs’ points were courtesy of a pair of field goals from Greyson Simpson – the first from 43 yards out and the second from 24 yards. Simpson (pictured above at right) also had five tackles and an interception on defense.
Travis Smith paced the Ashville running game with 55 yards on 17 carries. Ryan Harris ran seven times for 23 yards.
The Bulldogs resume their Class 4A, Region 6 schedule this Friday against Fultondale at homecoming.
