Ashville posts first winning record in 16 years

Ashville clinched its first winning season since 2005 with a 33-6 victory over Weaver on October 29 at AHS.
The Bulldogs (6-4, 2-4) outgained the Bearcats 307 to 188 in total yardage, including a 294 to 109 edge on the ground.
Jalen Williams paced the Ashville ground game with 85 yards and a touchdown on seven carries, Dylan Harris (pictured above) ran 10 times for 62 yards and three scores, while Cole Hyatt added 45 yards and a touchdown on three attempts. Harris was 2 for 3 in passing for 71 yards.
Williams led the way defensively with seven tackles, followed by Travis Smith with six and Greyson Simpson with five.
