Billy Robert Moore

July 23, 1936 – July 22, 2025

Bill was born in Crowell, Texas, on July 23, 1936. In 1940, he and his family moved to Gadsden, where he attended J. W. Gadsden Junior High and graduated from Gadsden High School with the Class of 1954. He joined the United States Air Force in 1955 and proudly served his country for 20 years, including two tours in Vietnam, in 1967 and 1971. He retired from military service in 1976.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Pat and Clara Moore; his wife, Linda; and his sisters, Patricia Treadway and Barbara Hartman.

He is survived by his sisters, Dolores Schultz and Rose Staton; and brothers, Joe and Jerry Moore.

Ours is a close-knit family, and we are deeply sorrowful to be losing our big brother. He loved his siblings dearly and would have done anything for us. Our hope and our prayer is that we will see him again one day.
