Bulldogs bash Gaylesville

Gaston picked up its third win in a row as the Bulldogs beat Class 1A Gaylesville, 35-6, on Friday at Gaston.

The Bulldogs (3-2, 1-1) accumulated 305 total yards on the ground and added 181 yards through the air. Mitchell Smith rushed for 109 yards on 12 attempts for two touchdowns. Jordan Douglas passed for 135 yards on just two completions on three attempts for two touchdowns. Douglas also added 77 yards rushing.

Kevin Hollingsworth had a passing touchdown to Gabe Crain for 46-yards.

Albert Douglas had a 50-yard touchdown reception and Javonte Pope had an 85-yard touchdown catch.

Gaston travels to Fyffe in Class 2A, Region 7 action on Friday.
