Bulldogs bite Randolph County in Morris’ return

In Swane Morris first game back as head coach after a three-year absence, Gaston High opened the 2013 football season with a 27-15 win over Randolph County last Friday (Aug. 30) at GHS.

Senior halfback Braxton Collins was a big factor in the win, rushing for 205 yards and a pair of touchdowns on 17 carries. 

Shai Olgles and Jailyn Britton also scored touchdowns for Gaston (1-0). 

The Bulldogs kick off their Class 2A, Region 7 schedule on Friday with at home against Sand Rock.
