Gaston gave its postseason hopes a big shot in the arm on last Friday (Oct. 18) with a 42-7 victory over Class 2A, Region 7 foe Ider at GHS.
Braxton Collins scored two touchdowns for the Bulldogs (5-3, 3-3).
Gaston ends region play on Friday at West End.
