Class 3A, All-Region 6 football team announced

Eleven players from Glencoe High and four from Westbrook were named to the 2014 Class 3A, All-Region Region 6 All-Region football team. 

The Yellow Jackets garnered all of the top honors, including senior quarterback Dylan Stone as Overall MVP, senior running back Thomas Ozmint as Offensive Player of the Year; senior linebacker Mason Brown as Defensive Player of the Year; and Lee Ozmint as Coach of the Year. 

Other GHS players selected to the first team were Luke Mackey, Andrew Willis, Chance Duncan, Pace Ozmint, Hunter Nunnally, Ty Minshew, Jeff Ford, and Dalton Roberts. 

From the Warriors were Dalvin Lewis, Chris Underwood, Gilbert Rosas and Joseph Schauer.

Gaining honorable mention were Glencoe’s Taylor Daugherty, Grant Griffin, Bailey Britt and Joseph Bright and Westbrook’s Chandler Richards, Jonathon Couch, and Sam Blackstock.
