You’re invited to a “Party with a Purpose” at 4 p.m. April 28 at the Pitman Theatre in downtown Gadsden.
The purpose is the continued work on the Pitman Theatre. Money raised during this family friendly event will go toward the purchase of acoustic curtains for the theatre, one of downtown Gadsden’s historic landmarks.
The Pitman is used frequently for events ranging from luncheons and class reunions to musical performances.
The April 28 party will be one of the latter, featuring some of the areas finest musicians including Danny Moon, Foggy Hollow, the Liz Wood Project, Chris Bradford and Jon Player and Trading Faces.
Doors will open at 3 p.m. and everyone is invited to bring coolers and enjoy the show. Donations will be accepted at the door.
