Coosa Christian fell to Geraldine, 26-0, in the Conquerors’ season-opener on Thursday, Aug. 24.
For Coosa, Josh Hester rushed for 43 yards on nine carries, while Clete O’Bryant ran three times for 25 yards.
John David Justus (pictured above) was 9-for-26 in passing for 116 yards. Eli Motes caught four passes for 73 yards, while Dylan Edwards had three receptions for 24 yards.
Cade Mickler had 10 tackles, followed by Grant Morgan with eight, D.J. Mackey with seven, Josh Hester and Zayden Franklin with six each and Radley Mays with five.
Mickler forced a fumble, Mays blocked a field goal and Drake Dupree blocked an extra point.
Jadan Burns punted four times for a 41.75 average.
The Conquerors travel to Spring Garden on Friday, Sept. 1.
