Eagles come up short against Geraldine

Hokes Bluff lost to Geraldine, 23-2, in Class 3A, Region 6 action on September 8.
The Eagles’ lone points came on a safety when Dylan Lancaster (pictured above at right) tackled Geraldine quarterback Jaxon Colvin in the end zone at the 10:15 mark of the second period.
For Hokes Bluff (1-2, 1-1), Noah Sprayberry rushed for 37 yards on 17 carries. Conner Masters was 4 for 15 is passing for 20 yards. Cole Stone had two receptions. Dakota Holcomb had seven tackles, followed by Stone and Jaylen Simmons with five each. Lancaster, Holcomb and Kaleb Coshatt each had a sack.
